May 31, 2013 planned route, Day 14

Mt. McKinley, AK to Fairbanks, AK. 339 miles for a total of 5895 miles. Today I plan to ride on what is suppose to be one of the most beautiful roads in Alaska, and that would be the Denali Highway. It’s 135 miles of mostly dirt but some of the views are suppose to be spectacular. I have read on many blogs and reports that this is a not to be missed road. Since at this point the motorcycle should be completely dirt/mud ready, I should have no problems traversing this road. Ultimately my destination for the day will be Fairbanks and it will be the entry point to Prudhoe Bay run which should take me 2 to 4 days to complete. Depends on weather and road conditions on how good a time I will be able make on that particular dirt road.
